How do I request a top-up through DubaiRideCard?
Open the start-a-request page to pick a channel — WhatsApp, phone or email. Send one short message: it's a Dubai transit ride card, how much credit you'd like, and how you want the confirmation. A team member replies with a quote; you approve it, and you'll get a written confirmation with a reference number.
How quickly is the top-up loaded onto the card?
Most requests are handled within the working day. Once you approve the quote, the balance is usually available within a few minutes. During commute peaks it can take a little longer while payment networks catch up.
What are the amounts and any fees?
Between AED 20 and AED 500 per request. A small service fee is included in the quote, so what you approve in writing is exactly what you pay — no surprises at the end.
What if the balance didn't load after payment?
Reply to your confirmation with the reference. We check the transaction with the payment processor and either finish the top-up or start a refund. Please do not retry — a duplicate request risks a duplicate charge.
Do I need to send my card number?
No. This request desk does not need the ride card number to prepare a quote. If a value later needs to be routed to a specific card, we ask for the last few digits only, in the same conversation.
Where do I enter my payment card details?
Never on this website. When a payment is due, the team member sends you a short link to a secure payment page provided by the payment processor. This marketing site does not collect card numbers.
Can I request a refund?
Yes — see the refund policy for the rules and the timeline. Send a refund request by email with the reference from your confirmation.

Which transit cards do you help with?
Only the Dubai transit ride card used on the Metro, buses, the Tram and the water bus. Cards from other emirates are outside our scope.
Where can I use the card after a top-up?
The card keeps working as usual on the Dubai Metro, public buses, the Tram, the water bus and every terminal that already accepts ride card payments in Dubai.
